Publication: Interlayer Exciton Condensates between Second Landau Level Orbitals in Double Bilayer Graphene
Congratulations to Zeyu and Andrew on their recent publication in PRL! They performed Coulomb drag measurements in a double bilayer graphene heterostructure separated by a thin layer of hBN, allowing them to identify interlayer exciton condensation and interlayer fractional quantum Hall effect in the lowest Landau levels of bilayer graphene. Their work opens the door to future studies of exotic interlayer phase transitions and quantum Hall states. Check out their paper here.
