Welcome, Richen and Jixiang!

We are excited to welcome two new postdocs, Richen and Jixiang, to the group!

Richen completed his PhD at UC Santa Barbara, advised by Prof. Chenhao Jin. He leverages ultrafast optical imaging and spectroscopy to probe the dynamics of correlated phases within TMD moiré materials. 

Jixiang received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in May 2026. Under the supervision of Prof. Long Ju, he used optical and transport techniques to study two-dimensional quantum materials, with a particular focus on rhombohedral multilayer graphene. Prior to that, he earned his B.S. from Peking University in 2019.
